The Seeds You Plant – Marketing Game ~ Day 15

by | 25 comments

You did it! You made it to the end of the 5-Minute Marketing Game. And whether you marketed one day or all fifteen, you are further along than when we started.

Congratulations!

Seeds You Plant

But if you are like most coaches, your business still isn’t completely full.

Growing a business is a lot like growing a garden. You must plant the seeds, water, weed, and wait before the harvest comes in. That’s the sowing/reaping principle that God has woven into the fabric of our world.

So, at the end of our 5-Minute Marketing Game, and in the days to come, don’t measure your success by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you planted. In God’s good time, the clients will come.

Thank you for playing the game here at Kim Avery Coaching. It’s been a joy to watch you work to bring the power of coaching to a hurting world. I pray that you won’t stop short of the finish line, but will continue to serve, market, and coach until you retire or the Lord comes again.

Don’t forget to post your daily marketing activity in the comment section below.

Thank you again Kim for this challenge and gentle push to make our marketing a higher priority. Today I will be meeting with an Asst. to the Bishop to discuss “possibilities”. Blessings to you dear Kiim!!

    • Kim Avery

I’m praying that those possibilities turn into wonderful things.

Thanks Kim! This was a great exercise to get me thinking and doing marketing more and a reminder how much I love being a Life Coach and treasure my business. I will be looking at updating my Facebook page header today with my updated business card and logo!

    • Kim Avery

Woohoo! If you’re marketing more, I’m happy.

Also – quick question. How do you make your pictures that you share with your website name on the bottom? Is there a free site out there to get pictures and you can put quotes and your blog name on there? I share a lot of others stuff on my Facebook page but would love to create some of my own with my blog name on it. Thanks!

    Kim,
Thank you so much for this marketing game. It inspired me to to do many of the activities that I had just been thinking about…in other words, it spurred me on to action! 🙂

Today I did more research on networking groups in my area. The initial one I really like only meets once a month, and I would like more than that. I did find a really good one that meets weekly…and there is no life coach yet so that opportunity is open!

    • Kim Avery

Both of those opportunities sound good, Kristie. And I’m sure they will love you.

Thanks, Kim, for this 15-day Marketing Challenge. I’ve been using the word ‘intentional’ a lot lately in my conversations; this challenge served me well for being personally intentional, too! Today’s marketing activity consists of a follow-up email to a new counseling client in preparation of our next session, and a reply to another inquiry regarding my services. Bless you much, Kim.

    • Kim Avery

Very cool that you have a new inquiry into your services. You’re doing a great job.

  6. Deborah Haddix

Thank you again, Kim, for offering us this challenge and for the encouragement it has been to me.

I don’t think my post yesterday went through. I went back to read through everyone’s posts today and did not see it. Yesterday, I posted a new article to my blog, shared it on my FB page, and pinned it.

Today I worked on my “special offer” for the telesummit next month.

Thank you again. This challenge has been so motivational and beneficial!

    • Kim Avery

I’m so glad you enjoyed the challenge, Deborah. Thanks so much for participating.

  7. Kerry Iannone

Thank you Kim! This has been an enjoyable and effective way to consistently market my business. I so appreciate all you’ve done to put this together and encourage us along the way. Blessings to you!

    • Kim Avery

You are so welcome, Kerry. It’s been fun to see all the progress you’ve made.

  8. Linda Goldfarb

This has been quite productive Kim, thank you!

    Today, I designed updated Coaching/Speaking One-sheet! Wahoo!

    • Kim Avery

You are welcome, Linda. Thanks for playing the game.

  9. Monique Amado

This has been great. Thank you so much, Kim, for all the creative ways you come up with making this more do-able. This has helped so much.

Today, I shared an article on my fb page on toxic thinking and I sent one of your yesterday’s 5MM blog post to a fellow coach that I thought would be blessed by it.

    • Kim Avery

Thanks for passing on the blog post, Monique. I really appreciate it :). And thanks for playing our game.

    • Kim Avery

You picked three of my favorites! Enjoy.

  10. Jill Geers

Today I started working on a speech. I found one great example and quote to use and started writing it out. I have a ways to go, but the ideas are rolling out. 🙂

Thank you Kim! It has been a real joy to have been part of this event. God bless you!

    • Kim Avery

Sounds like you are well on your way with your speech. Yay!

Read 2 chapters in writing tools and post sample survey to receive feedback.

    • Kim Avery

The survey is a great idea. I can’t wait to hear what you discover.
