Build your business. Change the world.
It’s sounds grandiose. Idealistic. Even presumptuous.
Except… it’s true.
Coaching helps individuals live joyful, intentional, and purposeful lives. And change like that doesn’t just impact one life, it spills over onto their families, coworkers, fellow church-goers, neighbors and more.
Like a stone thrown in a pond, each coaching relationship ripples out and touches dozens, hundreds, even thousands of lives.
Add in all the other successful coaching businesses and, God-willing, Christ-centered coaching can literally change the world.
You or I may only be one small rock in the world’s big pond, but the impact we can have knows no bounds.
Thank you for being a Christian coach. For soldiering on through the maze of marketing. You are making the world a better place.
Don’t forget to post your daily marketing activity in the comment section below.
Just marketed some more on Google+ for my small group coaching. Still trying to learn Google+. Looks like a powerful place to market and many younger folks hang out there compared to Facebook. Winging it a little right now but starting to spend more time over there.
Just jumping in there is a great way to learn! Have fun.

Working on my newsletter today. It’s so much easier knowing what I’ll be including based on my annual marketing plan! I also listened to your Bite-Sized Marketing podcasts on itunes–fabulous! Even though my children are home today because of the snow here in New York, I will still be productive–staying focused while balancing home and work!
You really are “Super-Mom.” Good job on a cold, snowy day.

My weekly (that’s a discipline in itself!) coaching post went out today. Posted on my coaching and our ministry social media this morning as well. Still plenty on the list but lunch with a friend in there too 🙂
Sounds like both a fun and a productive day!

I so believe this too, Kim! I recently impromptu coached the mother of a young girl that I coach for acting, and it was so amazing to hear back from her about how much just that one conversation had positively impacted her, her relationship with her husband, and her family. I’m so looking forward to having a full caseload one day and being able to touch many more lives.
For today, I posted inspiring quotes on facebook, invited a few people onto my new account, and finished proofreading and preparing my children’s book to be sent to editor/formatter in the next few days.
Oh, and I spent almost 2 hours on phone calls with my provider trying to get my internet reconnected! Slightly important! 🙂
Sorry about the internet problems – that can be so frustrating. But, I’m thrilled to hear your impromptu coaching conversation had such strong results – coaching is so amazing. And good job on continuing to move forward with your marketing tasks.

Subscribed to the Grammar Girl and Kim Avery podcasts today. Listened to podcast #6 today from Kim’s podcasts. I didn’t get to this last year. So glad I did this year. After hearing one, I’m excited to hear the rest!!
Aw, you are so sweet. Thanks for listening to the podcast.

Thank you so much Kim for the inspiration!
Today I organized some papers and I tweaked my pitch and my resume.
I can’t believe how much you are getting done, Gaetane. I’m so excited for you.

Okay…..somebody pinch me! Lol! Here is what my day looked like:
1) Someone hired me as their coach
2) Spoke with a friend who works for her church and asked if I could speak at a women’s event. She loved the idea.
3) Asked my daughter if they were looking for speakers at the MOPS program in their church. She was going to ask her friend, who is the leader.
4) Spoke with another friend about some coaching ideas with a group of women.
5) I have been following my ‘ideal week’ and it is going well.
I am so grateful to be part of this 5-minute marketing program. I am learning so much. Thank you Kim and thank you God! 🙂
Hi Jill, I could just read #1 again and again. Praise the Lord. That’s awesome.

I was able to create and post all my Take Heart Coaching for Parents FB posts for February today. More than 5 min. of work but I am excited to have it done for the month.
It is nice to be to do that kind of work in bulk, isn’t it? Good for you for being a month ahead already.

Today I spent time clarifying my business goals for the month. Thankfully I am getting a clearer picture and order in what I need to do. 🙂
As we know in coaching, Kristie, it all starts with your vision and goals, so good for you.

Hmm…so true! I have just completed a book and have had comments like “this will change lives” said to me. I believe that is why God gave me this book, because I certainly would not have thought to do it otherwise! I just KNOW that He wants to use it and me to impact MANY! How exciting to be used by God!
Today I lead a Facebook party…always fun…always exhausting! God is opening up many doors through so many interesting people! I am excited to see what is next!
It does sound exciting – I hope you’ll keep me posted!

Great post Kim… I’ve found our ripple impact reaches beyond our scope of understanding.
I’ve put together several binders covering my writing, speaking topics, and projects. Guess who started a binder for Family Life Coaching – a great tool for my caoching toolbox. Yay
Woohoo!
