I just walked out of the 2014 Platform Conference. Wow. I laughed, cried, connected, prayed, planned, plotted, refreshed, refocused and left reenergized for an exciting 2015 ahead.
Here’s the thing. Most days, I work virtually. From home. Alone. Just me and my phone. I love it, and I’m thankful for it. But now and again, I long to press flesh, hug necks and see real smiles sitting across the table from me.
It’s been a banner weekend, and I’ll be sharing much of the wisdom I’ve gleaned in the months ahead.
In the meantime, let me introduce you to some of my mentors and friends and give you just a small taste of the wisdom they have to share.
.The only way not to succeed is not to start. Don’t over think it. Just start.
Stop dabbling. Start dominating. Action creates traction.
The more money you make, the more impact you can have.
.Stop collecting information and go start applying what you already know.
.If you want to change somebody’s life, start by changing their day first.
.Let go of the idea that you need to struggle to see success. Everything you need is downstream.
.With a podcast, you can speak into the lives of others for 20-40 minutes every single week. No other platform offers this much influence.
.The fastest way to influence anyone is by using what already influences them.
.Aim at nothing and you will hit it every single time.
Do you want to change the world? Enough to take a chance? Then you have to be vulnerable and willing to take a risk.
And there was so much more. Maybe we should get a group together and meet at the Platform Conference 2015. If you might be interested, let me know in the comments below.
